16yr old kills 4yr old boy in Lagos, removes his intestines, kidney & penis (graphic photo)

 A 16-year-old boy named Tajudeen Azeez, lured his 4 year old neighbour to a primary school in the Ijaniki area of Lagos, stabbed him, strangled him and removed his intestines, his kidney and cut off of his penis. He did because a man named Osho had approached him and asked him to get him fresh human parts and would pay him N50,000. N50,000 is what a human is worth to some. N50k. Unbelievably sad!

"At first, I did not want to succumb to the temptation but it kept coming. When I woke up this morning (Monday), I saw Ibrahim at the back of the house. I told him to escort me to a primary school not too far from the house. The name of the school is Anglican Primary School, Ijanikin. He followed me to the place and on arrival there, I stabbed him with a knife from behind. He fell down and I strangled him with a rope. I then cut his stomach open with the knife. I am sorry for what I did,”

He was of course caught and made to carry the deceased body. The photo is extremely graphic so please be warned before you continue...


 Tajudeen has been arrested by the Lagos state police command according to a report by Daily Trust and is currently at the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Yaba.

 According to the acting police public relations officer for the Lagos Command, Patricia Amadin, the body of the deceased has been deposited at a government mortuary. She said Tajudeen was arrested following intelligence information.

“Based on the strength of the information, the DPO and his men raced to the place. On arrival, they found the lifeless body of a four-year-old boy while the suspect was soaked in the deceased’s blood. From close observation, it was discovered that some vital organs such as the kidney and intestine had been removed from the deceased. All the organs were 

kept in a black nylon bag. The suspect was promptly arrested and taken to the station,” Amadin said. She said they are now looking for the said Osho

Buhari's plan to scrap NNPC revealed

President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria said in U.S. that he would be reforming the oil and gas sector by splitting the NNPC (the state oil company) into two parts.

He explained that the first would become an independent regulator for the sector, while the second would act as an investment vehicle for the country.

According to him, the measure would curb high corruption at the NNPC.

Buhari also promised to end political control of the awarding of drilling and exploration rights by introducing a system of independent, transparent auctioning for licences.

Female suicide bomber Killed and injured scores in Damaturu

A female suicide bomber yesterday caused the death of at least 15 persons and injured over 50 others when she detonated an explosive she hid under her heavy veils at a crowded market in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

Two other women armed with bombs were also arrested hours after the blast.

The market, popularly known as Sunday Market which holds once every week, usually attracts thousands of traders from various parts of the state.

The female suicide bomber, according to eyewitnesses, decided to let her lethal belt go off right outside the gate of the market where village traders usually off-load their commodities before they take them inside the market.

"The blast occurred at about 9:30am, when we heard a deafening explosion", said  Abdullahi Haruna, a trader. "It was a messy scene to behold. More than a dozen persons were killed by the bomb; many other victims who did not die were left with damaging injuries that they may not survive", he added.

A source at the Damaturu Specialists Hospital, who did not want to be named, confirmed to journalists that "as at 11am, 15 persons were confirmed dead, while over 50 are seriously injured and are being attended to at the Accident and Emergency Ward".

The female suicide bombers seemed to have planned multiple attacks on the market. Just as corpses and injured victims of the blast were being evacuated, another female suicide bomber was said to have been arrested around the market with explosives on her body, while another one was reportedly arrested at the hospital where the victims were being given medical treatment.

The police are yet to make official comments on the incident.

The suicide bombing is the third in the series of Boko Haram attacks in the last 12 days, after the first one that killed dozens at the Eid Prayer ground.score

World Bank Appoints Nigeria's Arunma Oteh Vice President, Treasurer

The World Bank has announced the appointment of the immediate past Director General of Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission, Arunma Oteh, as Vice President and Treasurer.

Her appointment is effective September 28, 2015, the bank said.

Arunma, a Nigerian national, was most recently the Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria. Appointed to a five-year term by the President of Nigeria in 2010, she led the transformation of the country's capital markets industry into a major global presence. She was a member of the Board of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and the Chairperson of the Africa Middle East Regional Committee of IOSCO.

Prior to joining the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Nigeria, Arunma was Group Vice President, Corporate Services, at the African Development Bank Group (AfDB). In this role she oversaw a number of departments, including human resources, information and communications technology, and institutional procurement. From 2001 to 2006 she held the role of AfDB Group Treasurer, where she led AfDB's fundraising and capital market activities across the world. Earlier roles at the AfDB, which she joined in 1992, included trading room management, investment portfolio coverage, and public sector lending. She also held other positions in capital markets and lending during the course of her career at the AfDB. Arunma began her career in 1985 at Centre Point, where she executed debt and equity offerings in the Nigerian capital markets.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria and her Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University.

As VP and Treasurer, Arunma will manage and lead a large and diverse team responsible for managing more than $150 billion in assets. Her top priorities will be to: (i) maintain the World Bank's global reputation as a prudent and innovative borrower, investor and risk manager; (ii) manage an extensive client advisory, transaction and asset management business for the Bank; (iii) engage, in her capacity as one of the World Bank's key representatives, with outside stakeholders including global private sector financial institutions, the financial media and the sovereign debt and reserve managers in client countries, as well as ratings agencies; and (iv) collaborate extensively with the Finance Partners throughout the WBG, including with IFC and MIGA, expanding shared approaches, in particular around innovative financing for development and for key new projects.

Ms. Oteh was selected to this position through an international competitive search. Her appointment is effective on September 28, 2015.

Motorcycle running on Water can travel 310 MILES on a single litre

A water-powered motorbike with the ability to travel up to 310 miles on a litre of water is turning heads in Brazil.

The 'T Power H20’ motorcycle was created by Sao Paulo-based public officer Ricardo Azevedo and can even be powered on polluted river water.

The design features a combination of water and a single external car battery, which is used to produce electricity and separate hydrogen from the water molecule.

 

The process, involving a pipe system, results in combustion and it is this that creates the energy necessary to power the bike.

Captured on video, Mr Azevedo demonstrates the brilliance of his invention after first drinking clean water from a bottle to prove that it is indeed water and not a form of fuel.

He then sets about filling up before hoping onto his motorbike and hitting the open road.

Later in the video the Brazilian proves how sustainable the bike is by filling up a bottle of water from the polluted Tiete River and running his bike on the filthy water.

Speaking about the motorcycle, Mr Azevedo also suggested that his creation has environmental benefits too.

He said: ‘The advantage of this motorcycle, which works with the hydrogen that comes from the water, is that the result that comes out of the exhaust is water vapour.

‘This is different from gasoline, which the result is carbon monoxide.
